I Know They Are In Different Classes

But just how fun would a Richlands-Christiansburg matchup be? Wow. As impressive as Richlands is, Cburg is equally impressive. Tonight as the Tornado were clubbing a good CC bunch,Cburg was wiping the floor with a Cave Spring bunch who is supposed to pose as Richlands most serious threat in the playoffs. I'd pay 50 bucks to see it

I would settle for a GC/CW matchup, I really believe CW could give them all they could handle

I really, really wish the two still played one another. This year's matchup between the two would be incredibly intense!

I had heard that GC had scheduled Clintwood next year. And I agree, that will be one to see! I for one would love to see Clintwood take it to them and give the LPD some bragging rights.

I think that's all dependent upon whether or not there's an Appy, Pound, ect. Right now that game is scheduled in Pound's spot.

yeah, I was told that if the LPD schools were still open, GC is not on CW's schedule but if the schools closed they would play.

Lung, you have seen GC play right?

I saw CW @ PV with Meade fighting the injury bug and PV @ GC, I really believe it would be less than one score either way. GC has not shown they can pass the ball, and CW lives to smash running backs, and vice verse with CW on offense and GC on D.

I think CW can throw the ball better, but GC's rushing attack may be slightly better.

I believe the home team wins, and on a neutral field, CW beats them by no more than 3 points.

CW and GC are really the only teams who can kick FG's, but CW's kicker is better.

I've not seen them this year other than what I've seen on TV. I know what they had last year and who they've got back and it's quality. At the start of the year I figured GC would be at least 2 td's better than anyone else in the region. CW seems to have gotten better every week this year. They've not done that in the past. Especially last year. I think at most it'd be a 7 point game but they've had our number since we started playing them in the late 90's. We've got 1 and they've got the rest. That one was in a year that neither team was worth a crap either. We should have beat them in 08 convincingly but they played out of this world and we lost by 1. That's acutally the last game that CW has lost at home. You have to respect that program. I don't go for the whole holdback/transfer garbage. They just seem to replenish the program with good, hard working, solid players every year.

Didn't realize offhand they were in different classes. Living near Cburg, I was hoping to see this matchup.
